Synopsis
Musá is a lonely hunter. He likes to wander around the prairies, splash around in the river, dance in the moonlight and count the stars until he falls asleep.
Weary of being lonely, one day he decides to get married. The women in the village turn him away; none of them is in love with him. The dew bird tells him that Princess Makurá, who lives in the “land where the sun rises”, will fall in love and marry him. Musá sets on a long journey towards “the land where the sun rises”. On the way to the land, he is confronted with diverse animals. When he arrives, he sees the princess has been enchanted and transformed into a statue. In order to break the spell, Musá must accomplish three tasks that will put his love to the test. Musá fulfills all three tasks successfully and removes the spell liberating the princess. Thus, Makurá is turned back into flesh and blood. She can feel, love, dream, kiss....
Princess Makurá and Musá get married. A new star begins to shine in the sky.
