A bad, selfish and solitary cat.

A cat that enjoys a bad reputation because of his unfriendly manners among the other animals in the park.

A cheerful, happy, inquisitive and talkactive swallow.

A smiling swallow that flies from tree to tree, unconscious of the passions that she arouses around her.

 

The first day of spring Cat and Swallow meet. And after a little foolish dialogue the story of the Stained Cat and Sinhá the Swallow begins .

 

The other animals of the park murmur: Where on earth has one seen a cat walking and in and with a swallow? Cats are the birds' enemies. There is an old nonwritten law that dictates: duck with duck, rooster with hen, dog with dog ...

 

The cat has become a kind and friendly being. Nobody understands that underneath his rude and rough skin a tender heart is beating.

 

A tender story of non-declared feelings and contained emotions.
A sweet promise in the transforming power of love.
A song to the friendship, tolerance and the nature in all its manifestations.

 

Two narrators relate and dramatize the story using toys, both traditional and hand made, animated objects, puppets made with recycling material, shadows and other daily elements.

 

This staging combines the poetic story in the voices of the two actresses, the theatrical game of the diverse protagonists of the story and the evocative and expressive power of the music.
