Don Quixote's Adventures
|
Synopsis
An
old puppeteer and his two assistants relate and dramatize with
puppets and other objects some adventures of Don Quixote. At a
given moment of the representation, the old man Maese begins to
rave, to be delirious, to confuse drama and reality, to take the
dolls of cardboard and wood for persons. His assistants, astonished,
try the old man to recover his senses. This causes different situations
between the actors-puppeteers, that run parallel to the staging
itself with marionettes, dealing with the wandering fates of Don
Quixote of Mancha.
